Greetings Fellow Graduates of F.S.C.H!

I was privileged to attend the recent Alumni Reunion on the campus of Fort Scott Christian Heights.  It is always a trip down memory lane to return to my alma mater and walk down those same halls I once walked daily.

I learned so much while I was a student there.  ACADEMICALLY, my mind was enriched by the challenging material I was fed each day from the hands of the teachers that were so devoted to Christian education.  SOCIALLY, I learned how to interact with others, work as a team, and solve the problems that one day I would face in the “real world.”  Most importantly, I was SPIRITUALLY fed each day, and grounded in the things of God.  Daily Bible reading, student-led prayer groups, and the positive environment of the school, provided me with a foundation that I am still building on today.

It is an honor to have been elected President of the Alumni Association at the reunion.  I am anxious to get started making plans for our next gathering!  We will be celebrating the school's 60 year reunion in 2007, and we plan on making it a time for celebration.

We will need your help to make this event possible.  It would be such a joy to see a huge turnout for the reunion.  It is always fun to get together, share a meal, and catch up with old friends.  We have big plans for a memorable experience, but it will only be possible if you plan now to be a part of the special day.  Also, please remember to update your contact information by calling the school if you have moved.  We want everyone to receive our mailings!

Please keep the school in your daily prayers.  God is still using Fort Scott Christian Heights in a mighty way to shape today's youth for Christian living tomorrow!

God bless you!
